North Sardinia is hot and dry from May to October but often with fresh winds due to its location, close to Corsica, to give life to "Venturi effect" especially when wind comes from NW (as usually it does), the famous Mistral wind. For this reason this is the preferred destination for true sailing fans.
The island is swept by many winds - firstly the Mistral, and is not unusual to have 10 Knots every day (thermic winds), which can scale up to 30 for 3-5 days even in June and July. August is more calm but can take thunderstorm, even if the usual weather is hot and quiet.
Porto Rotondo is in an incredible position, just 20' from Olbia international airport: just get off the plane in an instant you're on board!
Our yachts are stationed just 3' from the actual port (at Punta Asfodeli), taking advantage of all the infrastructures should they be needed.
The Marina of Porto Rotondo is a small tourist port, but truly modern and elegant, which offers you everything you need to prepare for boarding and also spend cheerful evenings in the welcoming lounges and restaurants located in front of the piers.
Jump on board and immediately enter the most luxurious coast of the Mediterranean: the Costa Smeralda!
