WEST SICILY - AEGADIAN ISLANDS
The best destination for Families and Friends loving peace and the contact with nature.
As soon as you exit from touristic port in Palermo of Marina Villa Igiea (our base) touristic port (in Palermo), just head west and in 90 nM you reach the fabulous Aegadian Island. Most people will love a stop in San Vito lo Capo on the 2-ways.
The Egadi Islands aren't much known to non-Italians, and outside the peak Italian holiday period of July-August, tourism isn't too intrusive: you come here for the chill-out atmosphere, not certainly for the glamour.

Favignana Island

It is the largest and perhaps the most popular, largely thanks to its crystal clear blue waters and unique bays such as Cala Rossa. Breathtaking limestone cliffs plummet to the cobalt blue sea, endless horizons abound, and mountain trails offer wonderful walks.
Marettimo Island

Marettimo is largely preserved from tourism, unspoiled in its waters and its terrestrial nature, so the island is a real hiding place - a calm and relaxing place, silent for most of the year. Its coastline is of great charm: numerous sea caves pierce the Dolomite cliffs overlooking the sea, such as the Grotta del Cammello, which houses a pebble beach and the remains of a Roman settlement.
